New Connections

I have connected with my cousin on my fathers side. She is my uncle Bobbys daughter. I am so excited to have one more cousin in my family, and a new link to the past. My father was from a big family and I would love to connect with them all one day. We have synced up our info and looks like we were both on the right track. She even has some pictures for me which is exciting!

Been a While

Well welcome back me.... been a busy year for me. I have moved to a different part of Germany and have started a full time job. Rhineland Phalz is a beautiful part of Germany commonly known for the Black Forrest. I havent been able to catch up with my cousins from Sweden since our visit but I think of them often and we are buddies on facebook. Still not alot of new information on my fathers side of the family. I wish I had some photos but have been contacted by a cousin on my fathers side so hopefully she can open some doors for me and my brother David. Have some photos I found that my grandmother Elizabeth Berryman left for me along with the family bible. Going to try to get them scanned in and on here soon. Take care all and Happy Blogging!

I have hit such a big brick wall. My fathers side is soooo closed off to me. It is driving me insane. Hoping something will give I dont even know exactly when everyone was born.

Have a few birthdates but cant verify one except for my father

Apparently my grandmother and grandfather had a rather un friendly divorace which led to a total black out in information. I gather my grandfather was NOT a nice man. I have also found some indications that my GG grandfather was possibly of african american descent. Any way I am still digging and not giving up but very frustrated.
